About Me

Space and Software are my passions: the former from a drive to explore, the latter from a drive to create.

In terms of Space, I have spent the last 15 years in the industry. I've had a hand in regulating amateur rocket launches and designing, building, testing or flying a total of 115 satellites. In all cases my goal has been to make space more accessible and affordable for everyone. Our community's path has been long and rewarding. When I started, Pluto was still a planet, Mars didn't have water, and exoplanets were a hypothesis. We've come so far but have seen only a tiny fraction of all that exists.

Software is everywhere. Where we live, how we work, and even who we marry is now influenced in some way by it. The next two decades will see leaps that are nothing short of magic -- cars driving themselves, artificial doctors and personal assistants, human-robotic interfaces and much more. I look forward to contributing to the magic.
