About Me

Space and Software are my passions: the former from a drive to explore, the latter from a drive to create.

In terms of Space, I've spent the last 20 years in the industry. From regulating amateur rocket launches to designing, building, testing and flying a total of 115 satellites, my goal has been to make space more affordable and accessible for everyone.

In terms of Software, I take a "Renaissance Man" approach. I've designed high-level Mission Control architecture that tracks dozens of satellites, embedded software that monitors power and sensors, backend software to improve continuous integration, and frontend software and documentation to make it useable. In all cases, my goal is efficiency and automation.

The next two decades will see leaps that are nothing short of magic -- cars driving themselves, exoplanet discoveries, artificial doctors, personal assistants, human-robotic interfaces and much more. I look forward to contributing to the magic.

  • We are part of this universe; we are in this universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts, is that the universe is in us.

  • Shoot for the Moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
